Drink Up

I'm not usually one for trends, but when it comes to turmeric, I'm leading the bandwagon.

If you hadn't already heard, turmeric boasts a range of healing traits, and is a particularly powerful anti-inflammatory. And if that hasn't sold you? Turmeric has also been shown to alleviate symptoms of depression, aid digestion, improve the appearance of skin, and boost overall immunity.

The recipe for this golden elixir has pride of place on the fridge of my family home, it's tattered edges testament to both its powers and deliciousness.

Simply blend with a banana and some ice in summer, or heat up for a warming winter tonic, and you too can be a glowing, golden beam of turmericy-lightness.

So kiss goodbye your caffeine of choice and say hello to this little cup of sunshine. Trust me, you won't regret it.
